Commitment Requests allow your Organization (entity) to send, request, and manage investment interest and commitment requests with your LPs and investors effortlessly and seamlessly. After finalizing Commitment Request amounts, your Organization can easily create capital calls for all commitments to complete raising the funding.
Commitment Statuses
Draft
The Committment Request has been created but has not yet been sent to the Recipient. When the Commitment Request is sent to the Recipient, the status changes to Pending Request.
Not Viewed
The Commitment Request has been sent but it has not yet been viewed by the Recipient. A view is counted each time the Recipient accesses the Commitment Request from their Verivend account. When the Commitment Request has been Viewed one or more times by the Recipient, the status changes to Viewed.
Viewed
The Recipient has viewed the Commitment Request but has not yet submitted a commitment amount. When a commitment amount has been submitted by the Recipient, the status changes to Commitment Confirmed.
Commitment Confirmed
The recipient has submitted their investment commitment amount. The Organization that sent the Commitment Request now has the ability to Finalize the Commitment amount.
Finalized
The Commitment amount has been finalized by the Organization that sent the Commitment Request.
Capital Call Sent
The Organization that sent the Commitment Request has created and sent a Capital Call from it. The recipient of the Commitment Request now has a Capital Call which they can fund for the investment amount. Please see Capital Calls for more information on Capital Calls.
Canceled
The Organization that sent the Commitment Request has Cancelled the Commitment Request and it has been removed from the Recipient's Verivend account and can no longer be acted on. Canceled Commitment Requests can still be viewed by the Organization that created the Commitment Request from within the Archives area. Please see Archives for more information on archived items.
