Creating a Contact
To create a new Contact click the + Add Contact button in the upper right of the Contacts area.
Note: Contacts must be added to your Organization (entity) first before importing Capital Calls, VeriPays, and Invoices or inviting Contacts to Deals and Rooms.

To add a new Contact, click the + Add Contact button in the upper right of the Contacts area.
Contacts can be added as Individuals (i.e. John Doe) or as Entities (i.e. Doe Investments LLC).
The Contact Name entered should reflect the name of the Contact as either [First Name] [Last Name] or [Entity Name].
Add the email address for the contact and any additional optional information such as First Name Last Name (for an Entity), Phone Number, Social Media Link(s), and Tags.
For Entity-based Contacts (i.e. Doe Investments LLC), multiple Individuals can be added to the Contact as Contact Members. To add additional Individuals to the Contact record, click the Add Member button.
Adding multiple individuals to an Entity-based Contact will allow a Deal to be shared with one or more of the Contact Members.
Contact Members can be removed from a Contact by clicking the X button next to the Contact Member record. |
Multi-Member Contacts
Multiple individuals (members) can be added to a Contact record if more than one person needs access to shared information. This is useful for contacts such as Trusts or Entities, which may have multiple individuals who need access to their Verivend account.
Note: As of Release 3.3 (12/15/2023), Multi-Member Contacts are currently only enabled for Deals and will be made available for other items (i.e., Capital Calls, Payments, etc.) in a future release.
Editing & Removing Contacts
You can edit or remove an existing Contact by clicking the Edit or Remove buttons for the specific Contact.
